lyrics
So many words have been unsaid.
Built in the dark to contemplate.
A sound for ears but lost in sight.
So quietly, deliberately, deliberately!
They give consent to the unknown.
So violently, you doublespeak in front of me.
So take this night fall to the horizons of godless fortune.
And spew your scriptures of endless patter, get on your knees now.
So they won't believe you, no, they won't believe you.
They won't believe you, no, no-one believes you! No-one.
Your escapades have many sides.
Your batting eyes say all I know, say all I know.
The stratosphere of cutting lies.
Are captured here and visible, they're visible.
Epic your mind and vast ego.
Echoes a sound of love and hate, it's not too late.
To take this night fall to the horizons of godless fortune.
And spew your scripture of endless patter, get on your knees now.
So they won't believe you, no, they won't believe you.
They won't believe you, no, no-one believes you! No-one at all.
As cold as ice, your cunning eyes.
Depraved, impulsed, you're breathing hard, demoralized.
The silent space where you belong.
You're standing there, you feel it now, you feel it now

Better late to the party than never. How did I miss this band? It's a great blend of The Cure during their 'a forest' period and alternative rock. The first track Grandview plunges you into an ocean of psychodelic guitars and rythmic drums and like a siren lures you into the depths. A very accomplished album and although I wouldn't categorize it as Gothic it captures the early spirit of that dusty genre better than most contemporary bands nowadays. stargazing robot
